Well, it feels like forever since I’ve done this. Let’s see if I can remember how to do it! Thank goodness for my crafty friends. Our monthly get-togethers have kept me crafting at least once a month even though moving and setting up my new craft room has taken months longer that I wanted. But it’s getting closer! One more big piece of furniture to move, but it’s a beast!
I’m playing along with the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge with this card. I may not have a fully assembled craft room, but I couldn’t resist trying out the Distress Oxide inks for the first time when I was creating my cloud background. First impression: So easy to work with! FOr the post the seagull is standing on, I masked the gull and the edges and stamped the post with the Wood Plank background stamp with Hot Fudge hybrid ink then finished cloring it in with Copic markers.
Stamps: Seaside Seagulls, Wood Plank BG (MFT)
Paper: Smooth White, Kraft, Cement Gray (MFT)
Ink: Hot Fudge Hybris, Black Licorice Hybrid (MFT); Broken China (Distress Oxide)
Dies: Seaside Seagulls, Square Frames, Wonky Stitched Square STAX (MFT)
Accessories Cloud Stencil (MFT); Copic Markers
Here’s another card I was able to make on Saturday. I took the sketch from the current MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge and turned it on its side.
Craft room status: Still a long way to go, but it’s starting to look like a craft room!

Ink: Hot Fudge Hybrid, Black Licorice Hybrid (MFT); Tea Dye (Distress Ink)

I made progress on my craft room today! To the point that it hurts to type this. It’ll be worth it in the end! Anyway, I did have a chance to craft on Saturday, so I’m playing along with the Color Throwdown. And now, I’m going to go take some ibuprofen and go to bed…
Stamps: Ocean Pals (MFT)
Paper: Smooth White (MFT); Distress Watercolor Card Stock (Ranger)
Ink: Black Licorice Hybrid, Pink Lemonade, Blu Raspberry, Grapesicle (MFT)
Dies: Ocean Pals, Blueprints 20 (MFT)

I actually only made two cards last weekend. Most of my time was well spent working on another project for a friend that I can’t share right now (because it’s not actually finished yet, among other reasons…). But for my second card, I used the current sketch from the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge.
Stamps: Essential Dentiments, Wavy COloring Book BG, CIrcle Scribble BG (MFT)
Paper: Smooth White, Steel Grey, Pink Lemonade, Cement Gray, Brushed Gold Card Stock (MFT)
Ink: Pink Lemonade, Steel Grey (MFT)
Dies: Pierced Heart STAX, Horizontal Stitched Strips, Blueprints 13 (MFT)
You guys! It’s been over a month, but I finally got crafty again!!! Thanks goodness for good friends and regularly scheduled Crafty Saturdays! I can’t remember when I went this long without crafting. I moved at the beginning of January. And I had to clear out my storage unit. So my life for the last 2-1/2 months has consisted of moving boxes. So. Many. Boxes. Right now, I have a temporary craft room set up in my living room. My craft room is currently filled with boxes I need to sort through after emptying my storage unit. Anyway, Crafty Saturday gave me an excuse to take a break from boxes, pack up my crafty things, and spend the day crafting with friends. I took the opportunity to play along with the Color Throwdown. I used gold ink to color this cute little dragon’s horn, wings, claws, and belly. I used copic markers for the rest of him.
Stamps: Macical Dragons, Wavy Colring Book BG (MFT)
Paper: Smooth White, Cement Gray, Black Licorice, Gold Sparkle (MFT)
Ink: Black Licorice Hybrid, Cement Gray (MFT); Delicata Gold
Dies: Magical Dragons (MFT)
Accessories Copic Markers
Hey look at this! I actually used stamps and ink tonight! I’m playing along with the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I love this Wavy Coloring Book background and I haven’t even colored it yet! I cut a circle mask from scrap paper and covered the panel with it then stamped the background. Then I trmmed the panel, popped with foam adhesive and added the sentiment on the fishtail banner. I finished the card off with some clear sequins.
Stamps: Kind Words, Wavy Coloring Book BG (MFT)
Paper: Insulation Pink, Grout Gray, Cement Gray (MFT)
Ink: Gravel Gray (MFT)
Dies: Circle STAX 2, Fishtail Flags STAX (MFT)
Accessories Sequins (PPP)
So here’s a pretty good clue that I’m running short on time – I make a card with no stamping involved. But, when it’s 9:30 on Sunday and tomorrow is a work-day, you do what you have to. 😉 So this is my (non-stamped) card playing along with the Color Throwdown.
Paper: Primitive White, Kraft, Gravel Gray, Wild Cherry (MFT)
Dies: Stitched Flowers, Words for Friends, Blueprints 13 (MFT)
Yikes! I almost forgot to post and link up thiis card for the MFT Color Challenge.
